90 days to go!

It was a little cold around here for awhile! Very cold actually. I think every tropical plant that we bought to landscape with has been damaged. I am really going to have to research how you care for these plants now... or there is going to be one huge trip to Lowes in the near future! Today we had another day of wild weather! Lots of rain, hail, and heavy winds! It was a great day to stay home!

It is hard to believe that today was the last day of our 2nd 9weeks grading period. That marks the halfway point for us. It seems unreal that we are at this point in the year, but it reminds me that time waits for no one! In just a very short time M will be going to middle school! She has her auditions and tours for magnet schools next year, so we will see. She is ok wherever she ends up. It will be the first time that she has not been at school with me- now that will be strange! It will just be B and me.

Summer plans are being made and it looks like we will be heading North for a few fun trips! Excited about that!!!!

We have been very busy too! Probably not more than usual, but a lot of "monkey wrenches" thrown in here and there! Takes a little to adjust, but we just keep marching forward. The Big J has been starting Varsity lately, and we are glad of that. I still think he would have had more playing time on JV, but I am not the Coach in the house LOL! Travel Ball starts soon, so we should have some good trips coming up. I saw a sneak preview of the schedule and it looks like ATL and Knoxville again for two of our big tournaments! I just love both of those events.

M & B are busy as ever with dance. They are going to Orlando in less than a month and they are practicing so hard! I should have some fun pictures from that event. It amazes me that they are both great dancers and love it! We just want them busy with something!

The little J is getting so big. His vocabulary and speech are out of this world. He has an awesome memory too- and he knows who belongs to who. It amazes us that he associates moms with their basketball players. He has been in the gym probably far too much (if that is possible!) He loves to go to a basketball game!

I will post some pictures later.... I cannot get my Nikon to upload, and I am going to watch a show for a change!
