We are counting days around here! 31 left in this school year. It has really gone fast! Hard to believe that it is almost over. These last few weeks as always will fly by, and then it will seem as if it really wasn't that long of a year at all!
We are in full National Dance Week / Recital mode around here. It has been tutus and tights all over the place. A few mishaps but luckily everything has been found. It seems to go full speed, and then recital is over and it is finally calm. A rest ... a break.. but not for too long! But certainly not driving to the studio 4 nights a week!
The M did not get into the school of her choice, so we are tossing around all kinds of thoughts and ideas. Home school, private school, moving. etc... Again another situation in which I feel we are waiting for direction.. any kind of direction. The should of, could of, would of come into play here. This is the time when faith has to take over, or I become a little crazed. It's times like these that I just think.. what's the plan supposed to be- and why can't I see it!!! It seems for almost a year we have been waiting- you would think we would have gotten better at this but, it still throws a few kinks into our daily operations.
The Big J is too busy as well. Spring football, travel ball, and school have him gone just about every second of every day. He has done really well this last nine weeks! So, his summer should not be filled with Reading Camp :-). We go off to State in a few weeks for basketball so that should be fun, and if we play it right, hopefully we will be in a nice hotel with a BIG fun pool over Memorial Day Weekend.
The Little J is busy too. Turning 3 must be a big deal in age for boys, because he is all over the place! He wants to do everything himself and he is really into exploring and laughing. Anything can be extremely funny to him at any given time. I can honestly say there is night and day between the girls and him at this age. Sometimes I think a short bus may be in his future, but I am assured that he is sharper than a tack! Just a little "boy wild!"
We are looking forward to the summer. To sleeping late, hanging out, and soaking up the sun! We have a few days to relax before VBS begins, and then the M and I will head to DC for a week for our patrol trip. Looking forward to that!!!
More updates to come :-)
