They say absence makes the heart grow fonder... I say absence is my solace sometimes. Not wanting to say too much, and yet wanting to say a lot all at once. Absence has not meant that we have not been busy! Too busy at times, but like we told one of our dearest friends... there will be a day that we will long to be this busy again :-)
The mountain is moving. It is moving slow... sort of like a glacier- rubbing, scraping, and molding as it goes. We are good- we are excited about things to come!

My "M" is growing up! She is going to middle school- I just can't believe it. It will be the first time she has not been at school with me since Pre-K! She is ready, and she is excited. I am nervous, but know that she will do great! She may even try out for some sports in 7th grade.
Look Dad... I am going to jump in and swim underwater!
I'm not afraid of the water- No, not even one little bit!! We are amazed at how well he likes the pool. He liked it last year too, but this year he has more balance and he is all over the place.
This was the best kid pool ever!
B enjoying the pool down in Orlando! We have been fortunate that Derek has had quite a few games in Orlando this year, so the hotels have been great!
Probably the only pose I will get this year!
And he is happy that he is number 3 this year!
The Big J's first Spring football game was last Friday. I cannot even begin to tell you how HOT it was!!! It had to be about 100 degrees at 4:00~ I even have a tan line from my flip flops! The little J loved it! He screamed, he yelled, and at the end of the game he took his usual run down the field! The Big J looked really good to! For some reason (probably because everyone in the basketball gym) the Little J believes that his wardrobe should consist of basketball shorts and a white t-shirt! Sometimes he wins, sometimes I win :-)
I heart Publix!!
It was so nice outside Sunday... we had a nice breeze and only about 84! Perfect for J's outside party!
Happy Birthday Little J! 3 years old already, and it does not even seem possible! We celebrated with a Blue's Clues Cake and "Spiderman" plates... It took a lot out of me to mismatch themes, but that is what the Little J wanted.
It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is closing in. We only have about 9 1/2 days left, and the last 4 1/2 our slammed with end of year 5th grade activities, including a trip to Animal Kingdom in Orlando. I signed the Little J up for swimming lessons today. I am so excited that he will learn to swim at the beginning of the summer!
This year has taught us a lot. When I look back at the craziness of it all, I can hardly believe that we have come this far. We are encouraged that things are working towards our desires, and we are hopeful that we will see results soon! I can only say that when you truly let God lead, he does amazing work! Funny how we continually try and do the work for him.
To close, who cannot love David Crowder? I could play this song on return all day-
Looking forward to sharing good news with you SOON! (and more frequent posts through the summer!)
