Be Still

Sometimes being still comes in all forms- for me, stillness this week was just being engaged with my family! What a great week we have had!!

 Macey finally decided to make an appearance!! Along with her friends A and Docquan!!!

We are so lucky to have great beaches and parks around us! I am so lucky to have been blessed with 5 terrific kids! 

 

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Day 2 - Regaining Rest

This little elephant was so playful today. He must have entertained Briley and Jackson for a full 30 minutes! He was so happy playing in the dirt and water! Of course, Jackson thinks he can "talk to the animals" so he fully believed that the baby was following his commands! He is certainly a character.

 Jackson is officially BIG!! He is no longer my baby- and he tells me this daily!

It was a beautiful day at the zoo! I am taking my lens in Friday because I just can't stand it anymore!!

We are loving are time off from school- and I think we only have about 50 days when we go back- that is not long at all!!!

Today--- clean the garbage day! Since ALL the kids are here today seems like the best plan!

 Jackson is growing up!

Life has been going on for us at an unbelievable rate. We have just finished one of the busiest 12 weeks ever! Jasper basketball team went to State this year, I was responsible for our church's largest fundraiser for our Youth, and I finished my reading endorsement while teaching an extra ESOL class and my regular class! It has been crazy busy... but we made it!

The girls are dancing in Orlando this weekend. They are having so much fun, and they are so good at what they do! It is fun to have sports and dance with my kids!

Spring Break - Day 1

 Today was a great day for the beach! It's hard to believe this year is almost over! We are going to have a blast this week, just hanging out and about.

 Briley is the fashionista- notice the bow.

 We played for hours, even though the water is still a bit frigid. But we found lots of shells, and made some pretty neat sand castles as well.

 This area of sand entertained Jackson for hours!!! It was so soft! He loved playing in it! He even asked if we could have a sandbox like this at home.
