An SEC Mom, A High School Mom, A Middle School Mom, and an Elementary School Mom!!!

It's summertime around here and with that came LOTS of children. The biggest change was packing and sending Jap to the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) to play football. We are happy to report that he successfully completed his first semester of college (Summer A) and will start his second class (Summer B) on Monday!
Macey and Briley have big changes too! Macey will be entering our arts high school next year, and Briley will be entering our arts middle school! Jackson will move schools (first year that I will not have a kiddo with me in a LONG time) to our arts elementary school. We are very excited about these changes!!!

But let everyone who trusts you be happy; let them sings glad songs forever.
Protect those who love you and who are happy because of you.

Being a MOM

There are no words to describe his energy, except to say that if it's light outside, he is full speed ahead!

I love these little feet! And I super love this little boy... who is almost finished with Kindergarten and who is reading and writing like crazy... who loves MATH and all things that can be done OUTSIDE! Who when becomes tired still loves to snuggle with his momma! What a precious gift he is to US!
And these sweet girls who have grown right before our very own eyes! One going to middle school and one starting high school. Where has this time gone? When I watch them dance, I am reminded how beautifully talented they are. How I miss their small feet :)

These two girls... who love to dance, who are sisters growing and loving each other! Who right before my eyes have grown in ways I could never imagine. Who fiercely love their family, and give us so much joy! Radiant... that is a word to describe their worlds! Sweet friends, caring, and eager to make a difference in the lives of others.

Grace and beauty are what they are! With such sweet souls, who have been blessed with an amazing talent. Through hard work and dedication have both earned spots in art schools!

And these legs that she has... that stretch for miles, that are so perfectly aligned!

And this one... who is almost finished with 4 years of high school, and who will be leaving in a few short weeks to start a new chapter at USC...
It just seems that time does not stand still. That my kids are growing and expanding their own horizons and leaving one by one. We are so excited to watch them grow and help shape who they are becoming... but on those days when I wonder.. how did this happen so fast? how did Derek and I grow so old... how we have been so blessed to call them ours :)
