The absence has not been intentional and life certainly has not stopped around here. It's hard to BLOG sometimes, because I have become such a fan of Instagram. But, I do long to write again- it's just finding the time to fit it all in. Today happens to be one of those days that I have some time. (Well not really, but taking the time!)

Macey and Briley are in full dance mode right now! They are very busy with rehearsal weekends getting ready for competitions! When I watch them dance, I realize that every dance practice during the week is so worth it. They are both doing something that they love so much, and our amazingly good at!

Macey is anxiously awaiting high school placement. We are not sure where she is going, but we know wherever she lands it is going to be a perfect placement!! She is so tall and so funny- and yet so poised and graceful!! It's hard to believe she will be 14!!

Briley is waiting her placement into middle school. It's kind of interesting because she either wants her first choice or to be home schooled. Such extreme options there!

Jackson is busy being 5! He is having so much fun in school. He loves to ride his bike and play outside! He is constant energy in motion!

Jap has finally signed his paperwork to become a Gamecock! We are so proud of him. National Signing Day was a bit emotional for me. It was hard to believe that 5 years of hard work had finally paid off. The conversations that we have had so many times over these years became a reality. He was live on our 12 o'clock news, and he had such a good day! Before he went to sleep that night he said, "This has been the best day!"

It's crazy busy raising 4 kids! It's seems like our down moments are few and far between but it seems to work for us! I know that these days are really short in the scope of things, and I find myself wondering what I will do when they are gone!

Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. James 4:14
